So this is the cake we’re likely going to use, or at least something similar to what we will get. I knew from the get-go I wanted to incorporate the wallpaper into it somehow but had to delve waaay into my google search for Halloween wedding cakes to find this prime example of how to do it :)

When I showed this cake to Karl I suggested we could get cake toppers with us as Constance (aka Black Widow Bride) and one of her beheaded husbands, but I explained it kind of graphically weird and he was just staring at me with his eyebrows raised and said it probably wouldn’t set the right tone for our marriage. Ah, well….

I’m thinking a chocolate cake with blackberry currant filling. Berry fillings aren’t very “fall” but I don’t caaaaaare.
